 REFLECTION PROTECTION™ Product Overview • Used for nighttime visibility • Gives a max reflectivity of 675 candelas/lux/square meter • Certified safety reflective colors • Made with very small glass beads in a layer of polyester film Use REFLECTION PROTECTION™ for nighttime visibility and brilliance in the spotlight! REFLECTION PROTECTION™ films consist of very small glass beads embedded in a layer of polyester film to reflect almost all the light that shines on them. REFLECTION PROTECTION™ is available in Certified Safety Reflective Colors, our Safety Silver collection. Safety Silver retro-reflective film produces a maximum reflectivity of 675 candela/lux/meter. This product does not have a sticky carrier. Use Safety Silver for garments and other products used by police, firefighters, EMS, postal workers, traffic control, parking, utility, road, construction, security personnel, runners, bicyclists, and motorbikers, among others.

Application Instructions

Cutting

REMOVE the heat liner before plotting. 60° Blade with slow cutting speed.

Mirroring

Cut this material into a mirror image.

Temperature

9501: 320°F
9505: 250-275°F

Pressure

Firm Pressure

Time

Prepress garment for 5 seconds, then press design for 3-5 seconds.

Peel

RF-9501: Carefully peel warm, cover with a PTFE sheet, and re-press for 10-15 seconds 3205°F. Let cool, then remove the PTFE sheet.
RF-9505: Carefully peel cold, cover with a PTFE sheet, and re-press for 10-15 seconds.

Washing

RF-9501: Wash inside-out, warm water, gentle cycle. Tumble dry, low heat. Suitable for dry-cleaning.
RF-9505: Hot water. Suitable for dry-cleaning.
